There is a link between your destiny and your priorities in life, your choices and the consequences. The word of God is clearly explained in "Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Nobody or nothing can change your destiny against your wills and choices in life, even God cannot change it because he made it good right from the foundation of the earth," Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." I'm sure you don't want him to change this plan from this, even if you do, he can't change it, but you can change it by the choices you make in life and whose way you choose to walk.
Destiny is simply what has been pre-planned for you in life. This plan has two main sources. The destiny designed by God, "Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." and the one designed by the devil. "John 10:10 (KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly." priority is the thing that you think is most important and that needs attention before anything else. This influence the value you place on those things. with this I can put it to you this way, your priorities and pursuits in life are the main determinants of your destiny. You can't choose the wrong path and end in the right destination, You might have seen many around you who have chosen the wrong path and they ended in seemingly attractive destinations. That might be your conclusion because you do not know what a good and a bad destiny means, maybe your definition of good destiny is the accumulation of material things, popularity and the number of possessions. No! That is a high level of the devil's deception. He wants everyone to make the wrong choice of destiny. "Luke 12:15 (KJV) And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he Possesses." No one fulfils destiny until his/her reason for creation is achieved. We have not been called to be sons and daughters to chase things but to use things as a tool to fulfil our purpose. Which is mainly to bring God pleasure. "Revelation 4:11 (KJV) Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure, they are and were created." In order to fulfil the divine script, which is your destiny. follow divine order. "you can't chase things and find God, but if you chase God he will give you things. Not for self-accomplishment but for the sake of the service he has called you into. The service of reconciliation." 2 Corinthians 5:18 (KJV) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;"
Let's see the account of Solomon in "1Kings 3:4-5, 9 (KJV) And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.
In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee.
Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? "
From this account, we can see Solomon was rightly positioned, I will like to point to you here that your position is very important in the place of destiny actualization. Solomon here was in the right place, a place of sacrifice, a place of worship, a place of devotion and Reverent, a place of fellowship, a place of communion with the designer of destinies, a place of instructions and directions, revelation and divine navigations. This is a very important place to come in the actualization of destiny. The destiny God has designed specifically for you for his glory. Destiny is a destination which can only be arrived at with instructions and directions. To arrive at the right destination, the one God has set for you, his instructions and directions must be Joyfully embraced. These instructions have been put together in the scriptures. "Joshua 1:8 (KJV) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." Your response to God must be a priority if you want to actualize God's destiny for your life. Ask yourself, how is your response to God in your daily encounters? Where are the places so important to you? If it's the clubhouse, parties, outings with friends, the cinema house, etc. You are not in the right position yet to actualize the perfect destiny God has set for you. Your location determines your allocations. You can't do it the world's way and expect a kingdom's results. You can choose your actions but you can't choose the consequences that come with them. The choices have been placed on you, which would you choose? I encourage you to choose the beautiful destiny God has for you.
God bless you.
